Aussie singer Natalie Imbruglia has welcomed her first child, a baby boy, into the world.
The 44-year-old Torn hitmaker took to her Instagram to say that her “heart is bursting” with love after the new arrival.
She also revealed that she has decided to call her son Max Valentine Imbruglia.
Back in July, Natalie took to her Instagram to say she’d been "blessed" with a pregnancy after help from a sperm donor and successful IVF treatment.
“I’m expecting my first child,” she said, “For those of you that know me, this has been something I have wanted for a very long time and I’m blessed that this is possible with the help of IVF and a sperm donor.”
“I won’t be saying anything more on that publicly. I’m so excited about this next adventure.”
She also posted a sweet snap of herself in front of the mirror, showing off her adorable bump and one of her signing a new label contract.
Rocky love life
The 44-year-old actress-and-singer is currently believed to be single.
Natalie was married to Silverchair rocker Daniel Johns, however they divorced after five years in 2008.
The stars released a joint statement to People magazine at the time of the split, saying: “While we are very sad that our marriage has ended, we want to make it clear that our parting is amicable and we remain friends.”
“Our career demands and our lives in different parts of the world have brought us to the point where unfortunately this difficult decision was necessary,” they added in the statement. “We have simply grown apart.”
Natalie has also previously been romantically linked to Friends star David Schwimmer.
In 2015, the singer spoke to Red magazine about wanting to have kids, saying: "I definitely want children. Would I have one on my own? I would. I am not at that point yet but I am not opposed to the idea. I’ve got time.
"It’s a bit tricky that a lot of my friends are on to their third child... that is tough because we all know it’s like a members’ club."
