Mum’s brilliant trick for picking up Lego
If there’s one thing more painful than stepping on a stray piece of Lego, it’s the annoying clean up that ensues after a serious building session leaves debris everywhere.
Step forward one genius Aussie mum who has figured out a simple way to pick up all her children’s Lego using one unlikely Kmart purchase.
Taking to Facebook page Kmart Mums Australia, the mum from Ballarat in Victoria, says an item from the pet aisle at the cult store has changed her life.
“Went and bought a pooper scooper today and it’s the best $8 I have spent for picking up my son’s Lego,” she wrote.
The post was a hit with others, with 1100 likes and many commenting how useful the hack would be in keeping their homes clean.
“I use mine for LEGO and nerf bullets,” wrote one fan.
“BEST KMART HACK EVER!” added another. “So doing that this week!”
“Picking up lego is s**t so you’re still using for the right purpose, just smells better,” joked another mum.
