Hamilton-Turner Inn

The Hamilton-Turner Inn was made famous by Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Paranormal activities inside the inn include the sounds of children laughing, billiard balls rolling around on the upper floors and sightings of a strange, cigar-smoking man sitting on the roof. Most haunted houses in Savannah, Georgia

Savannah Georgia is not only one of the most idillic and beautiful places you will ever visit.

It is also rich with history, both good and bad, and some of it even spooky. Savannah is full of haunted houses and we got to check out some of the best ones on a tour with Haunted Savannah.

Many of them were featured in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, a 1997 American crime drama film based on John Berendt‘s 1994 novel of the same name, directed by Clint Eastwood, and starring Kevin Spacey and John Cusack.

The film was the start of a now long history of Georgia being chosen as the filming location for major movies and shows over the past years.

Forrest Gump was filmed in Savannah, The Walking Dead in Atlanta and Senoia, and HBO’s most recent show Sharp Objects was filmed in Barnesville. There have been Marvel movies and plenty more to come no doubt.

Sharp Objects is out now on DVD and Bluray.
