Morning Show s3 trailer hints at romance for Jennifer Aniston's Alex
The Morning Show has dropped a new season 3 trailer ahead of its premiere next month.
Picking up where season 2 left off, with everyone's job on the line due to the COVID pandemic, there's a lot of tension at the network – and the threat of impending financial disaster.
Jon Hamm's new character Paul Marks is brought in to sort things out with his media mogul know-how. However, he seems more interested in Alex (Jennifer Aniston) – and the attraction might be mutual.
Alex also has eyes on climbing up the career ladder, bringing her into conflict with UBA's CEO Cory Ellison (Billy Crudup), Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon) and fellow anchor Laura Peterson (Julianna Margulies).

That pressure-cooker environment is set to completely explode when UBA is the target of a cyber attack, taking the network off the air. But the hack also threatens to make public all the secrets that everyone has been desperate to keep hidden.
The 10-episode season's official synopsis reads: "Unexpected alliances form, private truths are weaponised, and everyone is forced to confront their core values both in and out of the newsroom."

The stakes have been raised quite a fair bit, but you don't need to worry about this being the big finale season for The Morning Show, as a fourth run has already been confirmed and a fifth is being considered.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston recently spoke about her time on Friends, and spoke about something that she felt had threatened to destroy the cast's friendship had they not banded together to push back.
The Morning Show seasons 1-2 are streaming now on Apple TV+. Season 3 premieres on September 13 with two episodes, with a new episode following every Wednesday until early November.
