'Monster' bridezilla slammed for wanting to replace bridesmaid battling cancer

A woman has been absolutely hammered online for complaining about how little her maid of honour is helping her with wedding planning – because she’s battling cancer.

In a post shared on Facebook the unnamed woman asks for advice on whether or not she should be getting a new maid of honour.

However, people were so shocked by her lack of empathy for her ill friend, screenshots of the post were quickly shared on a wedding shaming group, garnering hundreds of angry comments.

“Ladies I think I need to get a new MOH but I want y’alls opinion first,” she wrote in the original post.

“She is a good friend of mine and she has cancer so there’s not much I expect her to do, first incident was the wedding festival I bought her ticket and everything and she didn’t go because she was tired (yet she’s not too tired to go to concerts or wrestling matches with her other friends),” she continued.

“Second she won’t help with anything, won’t pick her dress, won’t help with opinions and won’t go with me to find my dress.

“I just feel like I either need to replace her or just not have a MOH or bridesmaids at all… what do y’all think?”

Understandably, she was quickly slammed by pretty much everyone for having “no empathy at all” and worrying more about her own wedding than her friend’s condition.

“Unless you’ve gone through cancer or watched someone go through cancer. You cant imagine how weak and tired you can get. You go through good and bad days. Ups and downs. Being in a wedding party is so exhausting, not to mention being a MOH,” one person commented.

“Here’s a person with no empathy at all. You want to help your friend with cancer? Have a talk with her. Find out if she still wants to be MOH, and if she does, ask how you can modify her duties to help her out,” was another response.

“Why are people friends with monsters like this?” one person asked.
