Yahoo Lifestyle Molly-Mae Hague Details Her “Shock” Split From Tommy Fury for the First Time

For the first time ever, Molly-Mae Hague is opening up about her bombshell split from her former fiancé, boxer Tommy Fury, this past August.
“We’re both being, like, really mature about it,” the reality star confessed during a candid convo with British Vogue in a brand new interview published on November 15. However, when it comes to *those* cheating allegations against Tommy, the influencer noted that she didn’t want to speak on the matter for a reason that totally makes sense: “No one will ever really know what went down apart from Tommy and I, and that’s how we’d like to keep it, for [our daughter] Bambi’s sake.”
“I do think that he will talk about things eventually. I do think that when he’s ready, like, maybe more will be said. But I think that’s for him to do on his terms,” Molly-Mae continued before adding, “It’s not like it’s gossip, it’s real life and it’s, you know, it’s a really deep situation. It’s really sad.”
However, Molly-Mae took the time to maintain that things would have gone down differently in her ideal world. “I didn’t want what happened to happen,” she confessed, reiterating that she “wanted to get married to Tommy, one hundred percent, and that would never have changed,” making the breakup “a bit of a shock” due to the difficult “circumstance.”
According to the celeb, the two had even picked out a wedding date and were in full-on wedding planning mode during the time they called it quits: “I wanted to get married next September and it’s very hard when it’s kind of taken away. But I will always have a lot of love and respect for him.”
A reminder that Molly and Tommy met in the Love Island villa back in 2019. After being together for years, they got engaged and welcomed their daughter, Bambi, in 2022. Sadly, however, the 25-year-olds announced their split in August 2024 with separate statements on Instagram.
Sharing the news on her Story, Molly wrote the following, in part, on August 14: “Never in a million years did I ever think I’d have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.”
Tommy, for his part, later added, “I am heartbroken that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship. The past five years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi, and I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority. Please respect our privacy, and our families’ privacy as we navigate our way through this difficult time.”
