TV star Molly Conlin held at knifepoint in terrifying ordeal

UK child star Molly Conlin was allegedly held at knifepoint by robbers who broke into her home, she revealed on Twitter this week.

Best known for playing Dotty Cotton in the BBC soap EastEnders, Molly claimed in a series of posts she had opened the front door after hearing a knock and “thinking it was a delivery man”.

But she was then pushed over as two men “barged” into the Essex property at around 3pm on Saturday.

The 19-year-old said she was then “dragged” upstairs before being held at knifepoint while the pair raided her house.

“I was literally praying as I thought I was going to die,” she tweeted.

“They was screaming at me, telling me they was going to hurt me if I didn't give them anything while I was begging for my life being pinned down to the floor.”

Police have said the alleged incident is being investigated, Sky News reports.

Molly played Dotty on EastEnders from 2008 until 2010. She was seven at the time of casting, revealing “I'm really excited about it because I have always wanted to be in EastEnders.”
