Miranda Lambert Reveals the Advice She'd Give Her Younger Self After Series of Viral Controversies
Miranda Lambert has revealed the key advice she'd share with her younger self if given the opportunity.
The "Little Red Wagon" Singer was present at the 2024 People's Choice Country Awards on Thursday, Sept. 26 to receive the second-ever Country Icon award.
While speaking with E! during the evening, Lambert admitted that, through everything that got her to this point, she wished she "slow[ed] down a little bit" and given herself the chance to "enjoy the ride."
"I've been a horse with blinders for so long just working toward a goal, and I think I did miss a few things by pushing," she said. "I think I'd just tell her to take a chill pill, have another Tito's and roll through it."

The comment came after a series of controversial actions on the country crooner's part—although, she likely wasn't referring to them, seemingly standing behind the decisions amid fan backlash, as she never addressed the response.
Last summer, she halted her own concert to condemn a group of fans taking photos in the crowd, saying, "These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song and it's pissing me off a little bit."
"I don't like it," she declared. "At all."
"We're here to hear some country music," Lambert continued, "And I'm singing some country damn music!"
Not long afterward, she was labeled the "Grinch of Country" after another clip went viral of her popping a beach ball that made its way up to the stage.
Earlier this summer, she interrupted her show again to scold fans for not paying enough attention to her on stage.
"I can see your head is not turned the right way, which is this way," she said in a viral video, pointing at herself. "So if you came to visit, you can do it somewhere else...are we clear?"
She did, however, speak out after breaking up a fight in the crowd, telling fans she was "all about" them fighting at her shows as long as they picked the right song.
"I've got five songs for you: 'Fastest Girl in Town,' 'Kerosene,' 'Little Red Wagon,' 'Wranglers,' 'Gunpowder & Lead,'" she said. "Don't do it during 'Tin Man.' That's not the time."
