Yahoo Lifestyle Marvin Williams retires after 15 seasons following Bucks playoff elimination
Marvin Williams is calling it a career.
Williams, shortly after the Milwaukee Bucks fell in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference semifinals series against the Miami Heat, told The Undefeated that he will retire after 15 seasons in the league.

Williams retiring after 15 seasons
Williams was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2005 draft, one year after helping lead North Carolina to a national championship. He averaged 11.3 points and 6.6 assists that season with the Tar Heels, and was the ACC Rookie of the Year.
He spent his first seven seasons in the league with Atlanta before jumping to the Jazz for two years. Williams then landed in Charlotte, where he remained until midway through the season this year, when the Hornets reached a buyout agreement with him — clearing the way for the Bucks to sign him just after the trade deadline.
The 34-year-old averaged 10.2 points and 5.2 rebounds over 1,072 regular season games in his career. He reached the postseason seven times.
Williams had 11 points and eight rebounds in 20 minutes off the bench on Tuesday while shooting 5-of-10 from the field. Milwaukee, which held the top seed in the Eastern Conference, went just 8-10 inside the bubble at Walt Disney World and won just one game in its series against Miami.
