Celebrity chef Miguel Maestre has hinted that co-star Amanda Keller will be unlikely to attend the Logies this year, after her high-profile snub for comedian Tom Gleeson last year.

Miguel launched an uncharacteristically blistering attack at comedian Tom Gleeson’s infamous 2019 Gold Logie campaign saying the funnyman ‘wiped his a**’ with the award.

The host of The Living Room, Spanish chef Miguel is appearing on I’m a Celeb Get Me Out of Here, and it was while chatting to his co-stars on Wednesday night’s episode that he revealed his true feelings about the win.

Tom ran a joke campaign that nabbed him the coveted statue, while Amanda, a TV veteran of around four decades, was overlooked.

“I think Amanda deserved that Gold Logie,” the chef said with uncharacteristic severity.

“She’s a woman who (has) fought through intelligence in the industry.”

When co-star Myf Warhurst reassured the chef Amanda would likely take the Gold this year, he made a startling admission.

“I don't think she's interested, I don't think she'll even go,” he said.

The shocking suggestion that Amanda would boycott the awards comes after Tom’s stunt sparked a serious backlash.

Tracey Grimshaw, Grant Denyer and others denounced the ABC host’s win and campaign after he accepted the award with a rambling eight-minute speech that poked fun at the nominees who took the campaign ‘too seriously’.

He also skolled his glass of wine and let rip some harsh insights into the industry.

“There has been a lot of concern that I'm turning this award into a joke,” he said at the 2019 awards.

“But what you are forgetting is I'm a comedian. I love jokes.

“This award has meant so many things to so many different people and that doesn't cease to exist. It has done a lot of great things for a lot of different people.

“But for me it represents a joke, but I love jokes. I really enjoy them. I really think we should all lighten the f**k up. I really do,” he concluded

Amanda was pictured looking thoroughly unimpressed in the broadcast.
