Michael Jackson’s son, Blanket, became known worldwide after his dad dangled him over a third-floor balcony in Berlin in 2002.

And while we haven’t seen much of the now 17-year-old since then, Blanket, who now goes by the name Bigi, has made a rare appearance at his brother, Prince Jackson’s graduation.

Prince, who at 22-years-old is the eldest of Michael Jackson’s children, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount College in Los Angeles on Saturday.

He was surrounded by his friends and family - including his 89-year-old grandmother, Katherine Jackson, and younger brother, Bigi.

Photos posted to Prince’s Instagram page show him beaming with joy as he hugs his nearest and dearest on the day.

“I met so many people and learned so much that the experience alone is worth it,” Prince said of his time at university, in his Instagram caption.

“I wish I could thank everyone that helped me make it to the end but I can’t and unfortunately they’re not all pictured here.

He went on to say that the biggest thank you goes to his cousins, TJ Jackson, Taryll Jackson and Taj Jackson who ‘kept pushing me to graduate and finish up my degree when I wanted to quit’.

“Honestly I can’t tell you if all of it was worth it yet but I am proud of my degree as I believe it is a testament to my dedication and discipline,” he went on to say.

Blanket’s appearance at Prince’s graduation comes just two months after his cousin, Taj, said the teenager had become mute in the wake of the the controversial Leaving Neverland documentary, about his father, Michael Jackson.

“Bigi is the most talkative kid at school and he isn’t talking anymore. We’re all worried about him,” he said on Victoria Derbyshire’s TV show.

In an interview with The Sun, godfather Mark claimed Bigi’s whole life is being controlled by the Neverland estate, he’s banned from going on social media and is often left to fend for himself while living with his 89-year-old grandmother, Katherine.

“He kept himself to himself. He would just immerse himself in his own little world,” Mark said about Bigi.

“The Jackson estate don’t want him to make money for anyone else. He’s an heir to a billion-dollar trust.

“They have trust issues, especially with people who may think they want to take advantage of either Blanket, Paris or Prince for their own financial gain.”
