This is not a drill.
Michael Bublé, the man who brought us the hit songs ‘Haven’t Met You Yet’, ‘Home’ and your whole Christmas Day soundtrack is coming to Australia.
The Canadian crooner, who hasn’t played an Australian show since 2014, is set to headline the last gig at Allianz Stadium on October 5th, before it’s rebuilt.
The stadium, which is located in Moore Park in Sydney, is being reconstructed and works are expected to be completed by March 2022.
Which means that 42-year-old Michael Bublé will be the last man to take to the stage at the stadium for a number of years.
The show is being touted as a ‘one night only’ gig, with more acts expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Fans of Bublé will no doubt be ecstatic that the singer is making his way Down Under, after he put his career on hold in 2016 when his son Noah was diagnosed with cancer.
Speaking to the Herald Sun at the time, Michael said he wasn’t sure if he would ever return to the music industry.
“I truly thought I’d never come back to music,” he said.
“Family is what matters. The health of my children is number one.
“The relationship with my family, my wife, my faith — all of it is easily number one.”
Tickets go on sale 10am Friday 3 August from Ticketek.com.au.
