Stars strip off for naked dress trend
It’s one of the biggest nights on the fashion calendar, and when it comes to dresses that stood out on the Met Gala red carpet – there was one common theme.
Nakedness. That’s right, forget wardrobe malfunctions, celebs are now opting to bare all – and we mean all – as they go to new lengths to flaunt as much flesh as possible.

Kendall Jenner kicked off the celebration of all things nude with her gorgeous but barely there G-string dress.
Designed by lingerie label La Perla, Kendall’s epic but structurally very unsound dress struggled to keep her assets contained as she inched her way along the red carpet.
Kendall totally rocked it of course, accessorising her look with towering Christian Lououtins and bold red lips.
Following in her nude footsteps was good pal Bella Hadid, who left very little to the imagination in Alexander Wang.
While the brunette stunner was all business up front in a demure, scooped neck skintight bodysuit, it was definitely party down the back when she spun around to reveal all of the bum-baring number.
Another stunner who clearly got the naked dress memo was Bella’s big sis, Gigi.
While she was slightly more covered up than her sister, Gigi’s super short skirt showed off the top of her thigh-high stockings.
The thigh was clearly the limit when it came to splits, with model Adriana Lima’s dress perched precariously close to her private bits as she hit the red carpet.
With her flowing Alberta Ferretti gown showing off an insanely high split, the model struggled to keep her modesty in check as she worked the event.
Rocking the naked dress trend with a little less difficulty was Kylie Jenner.
While she’s known for baring all on social media, the reality star kept it covered in a sheer Versace dress that used some very strategically placed sequins and tassels to protect her modesty.
