Drive her wild

TURN CLOCKWISE . . . THEN ANTICLOCKWISE
Seasoned sexual travellers can take a shortcut via the U-spot. According to research by the University of Chicago, this is a small bed of nerves just above the clitoris. “Touching the U-spot can often lead to female ejaculation,” says Dr Yvonne Fulbright, the author of Touch Me There.

ROUTE GUIDANCE “Make small circles around the U-spot with your finger, varying between clockwise and anticlockwise motions,” says sex therapist Barbara Keesling, the author of All Night Long. “Ask her to suck your fingers before you begin: saliva lets them glide rather than drag on the U-spot, maximising her chances of having an orgasm.”

GO ROUND THE DOUBLE ROUNDABOUT
Rather than just providing interesting scenery, if properly stimulated, the nipples can easily become an orgasmic A-road. “Touching her nipples causes them to fill with blood and get erect, sending sexual signals to the brain in the same way the genitals do,” says Fulbright. “Nipple stimulation also leads to the release of oxytocin, the body’s feel-good hormone.”

ROUTE GUIDANCE “The most effective way to stimulate her nipples is orally,” says Fulbright. “Point the tip of your tongue and use it to caress the nipple in a circular motion.” The best time to try this is two weeks before her period when her breasts are at their most sensitive, says research by Columbia University in the US.

TAKE THE NEXT LEFT: ETA THREE MINUTES
The clitoris is like the tip of an iceberg – there’s more than meets the eye. “Sensitive tissue runs down either side of the vagina towards the back of her thighs,” says Dr Hilda Hutcherson, professor of obstetrics and gynaecology at Columbia University. If you’re just rubbing her on top, then you’re missing a trick.

ROUTE GUIDANCE “The Kivin method makes most women climax after three minutes,” says sex therapist Dr Patti Britton. “Put two fingers either side of her clitoris and sweep your tongue back and forth while applying finger pressure to her perineum (the area between her vagina and anus). As you feel her nearing orgasm, transfer your tongue from the side to the head of her clitoris. Buckle up and hold on tight.

EDGE FORWARD FIVE CENTIMETRES AND KEEP IT RUNNING
The G-spot is more frustrating to find than lost car keys, but worth the hunt, says Fulbright. “When she gets aroused, this erogenous zone becomes charged by one of the most powerful nerves in the body, the pelvic nerve. While a clitoral orgasm is felt mainly in the clitoris itself, a G-spot orgasm can be felt throughout her lower body.”

ROUTE GUIDANCE Program your sat-nav a little way past your usual destination. “The G-spot is on the front wall of her vagina, about 6cm in,” says Siski Green, the author of How To Blow Her Mind In Bed. “It feels rough, a bit like a walnut, and swells during arousal.”

Insert two fingers about 2-4cm into her vagina with your hand resting against her pubic hair. “As you rub, she can grind her clitoris against your palm for added stimulation,” says Green. “Press the spot on her stomach where her pubic hair starts, as this pushes her G-spot down towards your hand, increasing the pressure on it.”
