Melania Trump took to Twitter this week to mark the first anniversary of becoming First Lady, but her message raised some eyebrows when she failed to mention her hubby.
“This has been a year filled with many wonderful moments,” Melania wrote.
“I’ve enjoyed the people I’ve been lucky enough to meet throughout our great country & the world!”
This has been a year filled with many wonderful moments. I’ve enjoyed the people I’ve been lucky enough to meet throughout our great country & the world! 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/MMRi72ENd0— Melania Trump (@FLOTUS) January 20, 2018
The tweet included a photo taken on Inauguration Day in 2017, which showed her smiling while being escorted by a member of the military.

But her followers couldn’t help but wonder why she didn’t choose an image with Donald Trump.
“Retweeting a picture with a stranger instead of her husband?” one person wrote.
“You look happier with him than your husband,” another commented.
That guy you’re with is way hotter than Trump. I can see why you picked that picture.— Mrs. SMH (@MRSSMH2) January 20, 2018

However, despite the negative comments, the First Lady also received an outpouring of support from fans, who thanked her for “bringing dignity and grace” to the White House.
