Meghan Trainor Revealed Why She "Cannot Smile Anymore," And It's Kind Of Rough
Meghan Trainor is getting real about the side effects of a recent beauty procedure.
During a recent episode of her Workin' On It podcast with her brother Ryan, Meghan revealed that she's had trouble smiling since receiving Botox injections.
“To all my fellow girlies out there who are in your 30s out there, hi. I got too much Botox, and I need help," she said, before admitting that "I messed up.”
Meghan revealed that she recently underwent a "lip flip" procedure, in which filler is injected right above your upper lip. "Someone convinced me with my little lips that...you could have a beautiful flip on your upper lip and I could have one for the first time in my whole 30 years of living," she claimed.
"It was not true.”
Meghan went on to explain that, because of the Botox injection, she had — and still has — trouble smiling as a result. “I cannot smile anymore," she said. "Everywhere I go, I cannot smile."
"My face hurts to smile.”
Meghan also explained that her lip flip journey has been a learning experience in more ways than one. "It taught me that my smile does light up a room," she said.
"And when it’s not there, it’s a dim light.”
Yikes. Hope she feels better soon! If you've had similar experiences with beauty procedures, we want to hear all about it in the comments. Don't be shy!
