Meghan says Prince Harry is going to be 'the best dad'

The world is eagerly awaiting the birth of the next royal baby in just a few months time.

And Meghan Markle spoke about her and Harry’s impending parenthood and said that Harry is going to be “the best Dad.”

The couple were at the Endeavour Fund Awards in London on Thursday night, when the Duchess of Sussex made the quip to one of the nominees at a pre-ceremony reception.

Harry, 34, pointing at his wife’s bump, also told guests “there’s a big baby in there.”

The Duchess, 37, told well-wishers in Birkenhead last month that she is due to give birth to her first child at the end of April or beginning of May.

The Endeavour Fund Awards celebrates the achievements of wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women who have taken part in remarkable sporting and adventure challenges over the last year to help with their recovery.

Three members of the Armed Forces Community were named as the winners – including Kelly Ganfield for Recognising Achievement, Nathan Forster for Celebrating Excellence and Shaun Pascoe for The Henry Worsley Award.

Meghan and Harry have added more engagements to their schedule in the coming weeks.

The Duke is set to watch England vs France rugby match at Twickenham on Sunday and will also attend a reception in aid of England Rugby’s Try for Change programme on February 13.

On February 12, the couple will step out together again for a gala performance of ‘The Wider Earth’ at the Natural History Museum.

Harry will then travel to Bardufoss in Norway to visit Exercise Clockwork to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the operation on February 14.

At the end of the month, the Duke and Duchess will embark on an overseas visit to Morocco, at the request of Her Majesty’s Government, from 23 – 25 February.
