They were hailed as the new royal besties during their first public appearance together earlier this month and now our favourite iconic duo are set to make another outing.
According to numerous sources, 36-year-old former Suits actress Meghan Markle will be attending The Queen’s Young Leaders Awards with the Monarch next week.
Prince Harry will also be showing up at the reception, which will be held at Buckingham Palace.
The Queen’s Young Leaders Awards recognise young people from across the Commonwealth who have shown exceptional talent and skill.
And it seems the Duchess of Sussex has made a lasting impression on the Queen, as their outing together next week comes just days after their had their first royal engagement together.
The Monarch and Meghan Markle visited Chester, where they were pictured laughing and joking with each other.
They were also spotted chatting on day one of Ascot, which is the Queen’s favourite horse racing week in the calendar.
It seems like the queen may have taken the newest member of the royal family under her wing, with Prince Charles’ former butler Grant Harrold explaining that the Duchess will be eager to learn royal etiquette from the head of the family.
“She will learn from the other members of the royal family, which will be following them round, and copying the way they do things,” Harrold told Yahoo UK.
“She’s got a wonderful sister-in-law for this, and of course the Queen, because the Queen is the perfect member of the family to follow.”
