When it comes to fashion, Meghan Markle seems to be sticking with what works.
The 36-year-old Duchess of Sussex looked pretty in pink as she attended the Queen’s Young Leaders Awards Ceremony at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.
Meghan sat close to the Queen, as well as the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, who was appointed the Commonwealth Youth Ambassador in April of this year.
The duchess paired her blush Prada dress with $750 USD black suede pumps by Aquazzura, and her diamond cross bracelet from Birks, rumoured to have been a gift for her baptism into the Church of England.
The 36-year-old opted for a centre-part and face-framing loose curls, and kept her makeup simple with her signature bronzed cheeks and nude lip.
While there have been a few fashion wobbles since her royal debut, Meghan seems to be developing a signature style that mixes her love of fashion with her new dress code as a royal.
The Duchess’s latest look seems to be part of a pattern for the newly-minted royal. The former actress wore a similar pink suit-dress with large button detailing by Carolina Herrera for her first Trooping the Colour earlier this month.
Meghan has also sported a boatneck neckline on several occasions, most notably on her wedding day, when she wore a gown designed by Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller.
The Duchess’s fashion sense will be on full display in the upcoming weeks. On July 5, the newlywed couple will attend the Your Commonwealth Youth Challenge Reception in London.
Meghan and Prince Harry will then attend Prince Louis’s christening on July 9 before embarking on their first official trip as a married couple, to visit Ireland on July 10.
Pack wisely, Megs!
