Meghan Markle steps out after friends' shock claims

A number of her closest friends have just spoken out about the “global bullying” they are seeing against Meghan Markle.

But the Duchess of Sussex herself has continued to stay out of the drama as she joined her husband Prince Harry for an appearance at the Endeavour Fund Awards in London.

The royal couple celebrated the achievements of service personnel, who were injured or fell ill in service and have gone on to use sport and adventurous challenge as part of their recovery and rehabilitation.

They met some of the nominees, as well as Endeavour participants and supporters at a pre-ceremony reception.

Meghan reportedly told one nominee that Harry is going to be “the best dad,” as he pointed to her bump and joked, “there’s a big baby in there.”

The pregnant royal turned to her go-to designer, Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller, for her outfit as she stunned in a bespoke two-piece shirt and a high-waisted black maxi skirt.

The 37-year-old teamed it with her Givenchy satin jewel clutch and a new pair of statement heels by one of her favourite footwear labels – Aquazzura’s Rendez Vous 105 suede and metallic leather mules.

Meghan styled her hair into a sleek bun and kept her jewellery minimal, wearing just a pair of delicate clover-shaped stud earrings by Vanessa Tugendhaft, first seen during her trip to Ireland last July.

Husband Harry, 34, donned a charcoal grey suit, with a white shirt and a black tie for the awards.

Harry spent ten years working in the Armed Forces and supports a number of charities and initiatives to support service personnel.

Last year’s awards was one of their first official engagements together and Meghan presented one of the prizes along with a short speech.

The appearance comes after five unnamed people from her inner circle decided to “speak the truth” about their friend due to the months of negative comments about the pregnant star.
