She’s been called a ‘Pushy Princess’ and ‘Duchess Difficult’ but now Meghan Markle is apparently coming up against another nasty nickname.

According to Tatler, while Meghan hasn’t been receiving the same hate as Sarah Ferguson did when she joined the royal family, staff at Kensington Palace have branded the 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex ‘Me-Gain’.

“The advice she’s been getting is crap,” an image-business coach told Tatler.

“Which is odd. I’ve met her two or three times, and she’s quite a pro.

“She knows exactly what she wants. But she’s almost dealing with everything herself, and that’s dangerous.”

The Queen pushes back

Last week it was revealed that the Queen has agreed for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to create their own household away from Kensington Palace.

However, she rejected their plan to completely break free from Buckingham Palace and set up their own brand.

“They wanted their household to be entirely independent of Buckingham Palace, but were told ‘no’,” a source told The Times.

“There is an institutional structure that doesn’t allow that kind of independence.”

“The feeling is that it’s good to have the Sussexes under the jurisdiction of Buckingham Palace, so they can’t just go off and do their own thing.”

Up until now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had the same communications team as Prince William and Kate Middleton.

However, shortly they will split and while the Cambridges will remain at Kensington Palace, the Sussexes will make the big move to Frogmore Cottage.

It’s believed Prince William and Kate Middleton will keep the Kensington Palace Instagram account, which has racked up over seven million followers.

Palace aides quit

It’s been a tough few months for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at Kensington Palace.

At the beginning of March, it was revealed that they are set to lose their fourth aide next month.

Amy Pickerill, who was appointed assistant private secretary for Meghan Markle in January last year, has reportedly resigned from her post.

“Amy is leaving after the arrival of the baby,” a Kensington Palace source told Harper’s Bazaar.

While the 37-year-old is reportedly “sad to see her go”, she is also “excited for her” as Amy is set to move overseas.

“Amy had originally planned on staying until at least the end of the year, but with the baby coming it makes sense to help recruit someone now who can pick up when The Duchess returns to her official work,” the source added.

Meanwhile a royal insider told People, Amy is leaving on “very amicable” terms.

“They will stay in touch and Amy will remain as a personal adviser to her in the longer term,” the source said. “They are very close.”

News of the resignation comes after Harry and Meghan lost three palace aides within six months of the royal wedding in May last year.

Meghan’s personal assistant, Melissa, resigned towards the end of 2018 with a source confirming to the Daily Mail, it was a “real shock”.
