Meghan Markles friend, Jessica Mulroney, has posted the perfect response on her Instagram account after trolls shamed a swimsuit picture she posted earlier in the week.

The picture showed her posing in a red one-piece during a trip to the Cayman Islands.

The celebrity stylist wrote: “Note to self, never ever post another picture of myself in a bathing suit. Only wear parkas by the beach.”

“Apparently a picture in a bathing suit is offensive to my career, some followers and my children. So guess what... I don’t care. Thank you to my strong followers who get it. Everyone else, get a clue.” She added to the caption.

The post has attracted thousands of likes and comments, one of which from Meghan Markle’s former Suits co-star, Sarah Grafferty, who said: “So ummmm, damn, can you just text them to me then? Cuz #goals.”

She posted the swimsuit picture alongside the caption: “Brings ten bathing suits... only gets to wear one on a balcony. All work no play in Cayman. I WILL BE BACK to play in the water with the kiddies.”

She completed her beach ready look with a high, wavy ponytail and aviator sunglasses.

Like Meghan Markle, her friend is no stranger to internet trolls. The host of US-based Netflix wedding planning show, I Do Redo shared a different bikini shot with her followers in August this year.

The picture showed her looking out over an infinity swimming pool wearing an electric blue bikini.

She revealed she deleted the post because of the hate she received, but later decided to re-post it in a bid to stick it to the trolls.

In the caption she said: “I took this down after posting it yesterday. Too many trolls attacking. But I realised today, I don’t care. I work hard on every aspect of my life and I’m proud of my body. I’m proud of the work I do. I’m proud that Im driven. Im proud of it all.”

She signed off the post with an inspirational piece of advice: “And if we can’t be proud of ourselves, then what’s the point. No more apologies.”

Jessica doesn’t just stand up for herself, she stands up for her friends, too. She recently used her platform of 340,000 followers to defend Meghan Markle after she and Prince Harry received public backlash for taking a private jet to fly to the South of France.

She posted: “When someone faces unfair criticism, you call it out” on her Instagram post.

“When that person is your friend and your family, you call those critics what they truly are. Shame on you, you racist bullies. 3 years of undeserved hate and abuse. It’s enough.”
