Meghan celebrates Harry's birthday with declaration of love and unseen baby snap

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have shared an adorable unseen photo Archie Mountbatten Windsor in celebration of his father’s birthday.

The family snap was taken at the tot’s christening in early July and was uploaded as part of an Instagram collage to recognise Harry turning 35.

Featuring the trio cuddled close on a couch inside Windsor Castle, the youngster is seen in his mother’s arms while his proud dad bobs down in front.

Like other photos shared by the defiantly protective parents, the image is in black and white and takes up only a tiny square of the nine-part post.

In its caption, the Duchess of Sussex paid tribute to her husband ahead of their African tour later this month.

“Your service to the causes you care so deeply for inspires me every day,” Meghan wrote beneath a more formal birthday wish by the account’s operator.

“You are the best husband and most amazing dad to our son. We love you. Happiest birthday!”

The sweet note was finished off with a red love heart emoji, as accompanied a collection of snaps taken throughout the prince’s life.

One featured his late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, while others included Prince William, Prince Philip and various moments during his military career.

And while the small insight will please many royal watchers, it comes after the couple chose to keep their son’s christening unprecedentedly private.

Unlike other royal christenings no press were allowed to capture their entry into the chapel, details were kept secret until the last minute and the Queen did not attend due to prior commitments.

Most surprisingly, Archie’s godparents’ identities were not told to the public, despite the move going against Church of England traditions.
