Megan Fox wows with major transformation on red carpet

Megan Fox debuted a whole new look this week at the Time100 Next Gala in New York City with the 36-year-old switching up her look by rocking dark red locks.

The actress wore a figure-hugging gold dress with a thigh-high split as she posed alongside her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly, who was being honoured at the event.

At the event, Megan spoke about ageism and discrimination in Hollywood, telling Time Magazine, "I still look the way I look. And what I mean by that is, as long as you are still a commercial commodity, they don’t come after you."

"So I haven’t experienced that side of Hollywood yet."

She continued, saying people "seem to not be able to value me for much more beyond" her looks.

"I never had a problem being a sex symbol. I never thought that that was a negative thing," Megan said, adding that she believes that it results in a "false narrative' where people overlook things like her intellect and humour.

It comes after Megan hit out at mum-shamers on Instagram, after one user questioned why she wasn't pictured with her children.

The star took to Instagram to share a series of selfies with the caption reading, "Pick me energy."

Among the thousands of comments was one that read: "Where your kids at?"

The actress then hit back at the troll for their mum-shaming comment, sarcastically writing, "Wait wait wait. I … have kids?!? Oh my god I knew I forgot something! Quick, someone call the valet at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

"That’s the last place I remember seeing them. Maybe someone turned them into lost and found."

Megan has three children, Noah, 10, Bodhi, eight, and Journey, six, who she shares with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.

The star has previously opened up about having to defend herself from mum-shamers, telling InStyle last year that she is often questioned about where her kids are whenever she's seen without them, especially if she's with Machine Gun Kelly.

"Do you ask their dad [where are your kids] when he’s out?" she said. "No, because you don’t expect a dad to be with the kids all the time, but I’m supposed to not be seen and be at home with my kids."
