McDonald’s lovers will be happy to hear the beloved cheeseburger is on sale for just $1 for the rest the day.

Yep, the fast food giant is giving fans a lot of love for a little change, slashing the price by $2.25 from it’s standard $3.25 cost.

The promotion will run until the of the day, but it’s not as easy as waltzing into a shop and ordering the burger.

How to get your burger

The offer is only available through the MyMacca’s app meaning customers wanting to nab a cheap burger will have to download the app if they haven’t already, and make their request through ‘My Rewards’.

Customer’s ordering to home will have to cop the delivery fee of around $5 through UberEats, so to make it worth your while you’ll need to pad out your order a little.

For those wanting to cash in on the savings, your best bet is to order in-store with the app and pick up yourself.

A celebration of International Cheeseburger Day, the promo will run until the cheeseburgers run dry and kicked off at 5am.

That is to say, get your skates on and get ordering before the cheeseburgers run out.

Greedy customers be warned, only one cheeseburger is available per person so temper your enthusiasm and make sure there’s plenty to go around.
