"Moving forward is difficult," La'Myia Good says of her sister Meagan Good, who divorced Devon Franklin in 2021 and began dating Jonathan Majors in 2023
Meagan Good's sister La'Myia Good is sharing her perspective on Meagan's relationship with Jonathan Majors.
"We're all about love, love, love, positivity, positivity, positivity," La'Myia, 44, tells PEOPLE of her sister at Thursday's premiere of BET+'s Diarra from Detroit. "So her being enveloped in that — seeing her so happy and seeing her so, just enjoying and really just being present in herself. I love it."
"I mean, you know, she's been on a long, a long journey. I think everybody knows that divorce is difficult," she adds of Meagan, who finalized a divorce from her ex-husband DeVon Franklin in June 2022.
"Moving forward is difficult. But not only that, transitioning with career and all her jobs that's going on," La'Myia says. "You know what I mean? So, absolutely. She's got a lot going on."
PEOPLE confirmed that Meagan, 42, and Majors, 34, were dating in May 2023, roughly two months after the former Marvel star was arrested in New York City and charged with multiple misdemeanor counts of assault and harassment. Good appeared with Majors at a number of his court hearings in N.Y.C. in the months that followed; the actor was found guilty at that trial in December and is currently awaiting sentencing, which was delayed until April 8, 2024, after his lawyers filed a motion to set aside the verdict.
