McDonald's Fans Green With Envy Over Holiday Meal Deal Available Only in Canada: 'Once Again the US Gets Nothing'

McDonald's fans are airing their grievances with the fast food chain once again, as they miss out on a new menu item available only in Canada.

On Monday, Dec. 2, food blogger Snackolator took to Instagram with the news that the burger joint's Grinch Meal has arrived just in time for the holidays—only not for American foodies, as the specialty limited-time offer isn't set to be available stateside.

The meal deal not only comes with the customers' choice of a Big Mac, any McChicken Sandwich or 10-Piece McNuggets, it's also served complete with a variety of fun goodies like Grinch socks, Dill Pickle McShaker Fries and a medium fountain drink, all placed inside of a festive box.

To sweeten the deal even more, the chain is debuting its new Frozen Hot Chocolate McFlurry, featuring vanilla soft serve, cocoa powder and mini marshmallows all mixed together in a Grinch-themed cup.

Additionally, kids can get in on the Grinch action, as the social media post's caption added, "And if that's not enough, you can get a Grinch Happy Meal (that has currently been out in the UK) with its own special box and, of course, Grinch toys."

In the comments, lovers of the famed eatery were undeniably green with envy over the special new meal release, with even Snackolator admitting that they're "beyond jealous."

"Ok the US McDonald’s needs to give us flavored seasonings for our fries and why can’t we and Canada share these awesome releases? Good for Canada by the way for making us here jelly 😂," one reacted, while another said, "I just want those socks 😂😂."

A third addressed the company directly, writing, "@mcdonalds why do you always give the other countries the fun stuff? I’m ready to start seeing some little 🇺🇸 flags under these new fun and delicious meal-experiments."

"USA never gets this cool stuffs!!" a fourth lamented.

Two more chimed in with remarks of solidarity like, "United States is slacking on these meals bro😒" and "Once again the US gets nothing like everything else."

"USA never gets anything," someone else complained.

While there's no word on the Grinch meal deals coming stateside, the blogger did note that they're available in Canada starting on Dec. 3, 2024.
