McDonald’s New Meal Deal Has Swifties Racing to the Drive-Thru
This brings a whole new meaning to "make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it."
Taylor Swift is officially back on her Eras tour. After a short break, the singer went back on tour in October and has now begun the international leg of the tour, heading to Toronto and Vancouver in the coming months. To celebrate her arrival in Canada, McDonald’s has created a brand new meal deal to help fuel Swifties before or after the concert.
McDonald's Canada Introduces The Bestie Bundle
This isn’t the first time that Swift has been honored on her tour. During her stop in Indianapolis only two weeks ago, Mayor Joe Hogsett declared the first weekend in November will now be known as “Taylor Swift Weekend.” Along with the proclamation, multiple photo opportunities also popped up around the cities that Swift was to play in. But now, McDonald’s has its own way of celebrating the singer’s arrival in Canada. Introducing the Bestie Bundle: a brand new meal deal that includes two friendship bracelets to show off at the concert.
The meal, which goes for $13 plus tax, comes with two Junior Chicken sandwiches, two small fries, two small fountain drinks, and two friendship bracelets. There are five bracelets with unique letterings, making it perfect for trading with your besties. When the meal deal was showcased on social media, fans collectively lost their minds over the bundle and American fans shared their dismay that the bundle was only available in Canada.
“You’re telling me this is only in Canada! I want a friendship bracelet,” one fan commented. Many fans also tagged their friends, urging them to go together ASAP to snag some bracelets.
The Bestie Bundle is available while supplies last—and it’s looking like that won’t be for much longer.
