Roxy Jacenko opens up her beauty cupboard for marie claire.
Are you a skincare, makeup, fragrance or hair girl?
Definitely all of the above - and then some! I am a sucker for a new product, but my biggest indulgence would be hair and makeup.
What's your go-to weekday look?
I need to be super quick with my daily regime, which includes an Ultraceuticals Ultra B2 Hydrating Serum, a ESPA Calm & Soothe Moisturiser or Ultraceuticals Ultra UV Protective Daily Moisturiser SPF50+, a mix of Elis Faas and Nars foundations, a lick of Benefit Sun Beam highlighter on my cheeks, a quick sweep over with the Benefit Hoola bronzer, and Tom Ford mascara. I always finish with a spritz of MAC Prep + Prime Fix+, to set my makeup, and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder, so I don't end up looking like a shiny mess!
And your after-hours style?
I am all about the bronzed and smoky eye look, and rarely use lipstick. My go-to guy is makeup artist Max May, who has become a very close friend and does the most incredible, sultry bronzed face. Kieran Street at Valonz in Paddington has done my hair for years and together we've taken it from the beach wave to my recent Kim Kardashian chop. For me, hair is just as important as makeup and helps complete a look.
I don't think Olivia Palermo has ever put a foot wrong, and is effortlessly chic on the hair and make up front.
Is Pixie shaping up to be a girly-girl or a tomboy?
She is a girly-girl through and through, and I suppose that's not surprising considering that I've had a bow in her hair since she was born! Pixie loves a little sweep of bronzer and a bit of lipgloss when I am getting ready in the morning; that said, more often than not that 'gentle sweep' ends up layers of makeup on everything from her face to the walls.
