It’s no surprise that Matt Damon and wife Luciana Barroso LOVE the land Down Under.
The couple and their four daughters have bought a Byron Bay house right next door to besties and Australia’s favourite couple, Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky.
But the question remains. Would they live here for good?
Luciana and Elsa hit the red carpet for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week opening night in Sydney and in an interview with the Daily Telegraph, “Mrs Damon” debunked rumours that the pair were considering a permanent move here.

“We love coming to visit the country but there are no plans to live here long term,” she said.
“I love the people in Australia,’ she said.
“Everyone I have met has been so warm and welcoming. It just makes it so easy to fall in love with this country.”
The two lady-loves of Hollywood’s biggest stars stayed at a hotel in Woolloomooloo, leaving the dads at home to take care of the seven kids that they have collectively between them.
Be also spoke with Elsa who told her what it meant to be in Sydney over the Mother’s day weekend.
“I thought it was good also to get all my friends here I brought all the mums that are friends of mine in Byron,” Elsa said.
“[It’s a] Special day and the dads are with the kids so it’s actually a good thing also for us to have fun.”
Even though Chris was busy corralling all those kids, it didn’t stop him from sharing this special post for Mother’s Day.
Luciana and Matt have spent a lot of time with the Hemsworth’s, especially together in the beachy NSW town.
Because they’ve spent so much time here, they’ve sparked many rumours of a move – however, alas, it’s not to meant to be.
