Master P would love to take a class taught by Bill Gates

Hip hop artist turned entrepreneur, Percy Miller, better known as Master P, is helping future business owners reach the goals they set out to accomplish through his MasterClass courses and an upcoming Master P MasterClass: Millionaire Mastery Business and Marketing Conference in New York City on how to start your own business.

“It’s about being committed to what you believe in. I tell people all the time, commitment is what gets you to your dreams and your goals,” Master P explained on Yahoo Finance’s On the Move. “I know that to be fruitful, you have to do something. So the Master P MasterClass is teaching this generation the mistakes that I made, the great things that I did and I want to share that knowledge. I feel like knowledge is more important than money.”

But since Master P has already achieved success in his career, who in the business world would Master P take a class from? Microsoft founder Bill Gates.

“There's a lot of people out there. But what I respect about Bill Gates is he give his money back to people. I know a lot of rich people that tell me, you know, they think they could take their money with them,” said Master P, who admires Gates’ philanthropy work.

The music mogul said that many people he has met in the business believe they can take their money with them wherever they go. Master P said he asked a successful friend of his about his back-up plans for his business and what imprint he wants to leave in the world. His friend jokingly responded that he will never die. “Well good luck with that,” Master P said to his friend.

“You that rich. But, you know, when you look at, you are going to die. So, you know, It’s about doing what’s right, giving back and being a philanthropist is what’s more important to me,” Master P said. “Helping kids with education and knowing that education changed and saved my life. So, hopefully I can give that back to the next generation.”
