'Masked Singer' Fans Are Not Going to Like This Week's Show Hiatus News

From Good Housekeeping

For a month straight now, we've all been having a blast every Wednesday night trying to figure out the season 4 Masked Singer cast members. So far, we've seen four shocking reveals, including Dragon turning out to be Busta Rhymes and Gremlin, a.k.a. Mickey Rourke, eliminating himself from the competition.

But alas, Masked Singer enthusiasts, all the fun we've had analyzing the clues and performances will need to be put on pause for the time being. Why? There is no new episode of The Masked Singer airing tonight on Fox. *Cue the horror film screams*

Why is The Masked Singer not on TV tonight and when will a new season 4 episode air?

We've been thrown a bit of a curveball this week due to the ongoing World Series matchup between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays. The second game of the seven-game series is scheduled to air on Fox starting at 8 p.m. ET — the usual start time for The Masked Singer.

Now, the good news is if either the Dodgers or Rays beat each other in six games or less, The Masked Singer will return with a new episode next Wednesday, October 28. That said, if, like last year, the series does require a seventh game, it's possible The Masked Singer will get bumped back another week. But let's just hope that doesn't happen!

Regardless of when we get to see a new episode of The Masked Singer, we do know that when the show comes back we'll be introduced to yet another set of secret celebrities. The costumes of Group C – the third and final set of singers — are Jellyfish, Lips, Mushroom, Broccoli, and Squiggly Monster. So take a break and recharge, detectives — we have more sleuthing to do in the weeks to come.
