Mark Wahlberg's Las Vegas restaurant recovered from a large fire on its patio.

A spokesperson for Flecha Cantina tells PEOPLE that a fire started on Nov. 6 after "a defective fire pit caught fire on the bottom of it."

"The fire crew came and put it out right away," said the spokesperson. "No damage at all in the interior restaurant. The only damage was the fire pit and the chair next to it. Thankfully no one was injured.”

Video of the fire raging outside Flecha was shared on X by @LasVegasLocally.

The fire occurred the night before Wahlberg is expected to celebrate a ribbon cutting ceremony on Nov. 7, three weeks after the restaurant opened on Sept. 14. The event is continuing as planned, PEOPLE confirms.

Around 5:30 p.m., the Clark County Fire Department received a report of a fire that had spread to the patio of the restaurant, according to a press release obtained by PEOPLE. Upon arrival, sprinklers were already activated and the restaurant had been evacuated.

The fire had not reached the interior of the building, the fire department confirmed, and appeared to be limited to a lone propane fire table — a flat, outdoor fire pit. According to surveillance footage, the fire started from the inner workings of the fire table itself.

Firefighters were able to decrease the fire enough so the propane tanks that were fueling the fire table could be shut off.

The Flecha spokesperson confirmed that "the fire sprinkler company came back out and recharged the system and the restaurant was back open at 7pm."

The Las Vegas restaurant is "a fusion of traditional Mexican flavors with innovative twists," according to a press release. It follows the success of Flecha in Huntington Beach, Calif., which recently opened on June 8.

Wahlberg moved to Las Vegas with his wife Rhea Durham and their four children from California in 2022. The move has supported Wahlberg's acting career — as he "only made a couple of movies in the entire time" he lived in California — and has lended his family new freedom.

"It's a place where my kids can thrive and do their thing and pursue their interests," Wahlberg told PEOPLE in March. "To be able to give my kids a better life and follow and pursue their dreams — whether it be my daughter as an equestrian, my son as a basketball player, my younger son as a golfer — this made a lot more sense for us."
