The Worst Jobs In The World Revealed

While most of us will undoubtedly have good days and bad days in our jobs, spare a thought for those whose job has landed on this new list of the world's worst jobs.

CareerCast.com have released their annual list of the best and worst professions, as determined by factors including: "the job’s environment (emotional, physical and hours worked), income (growth potential and salary), outlook (employment growth, income growth potential and unemployment), and 11 stress factors to determine which professions are among the least desirable".

Newspaper reporter came in as the worst job for the third year in a row, citing declining employment opportunities and low income as major contributors to this ranking.

"The news business has changed drastically over the years, and not in a good way," former Broadcaster Ann Baldwin, president of Baldwin Media PR in New Britain, Connecticut tells Career Cast.

"When people ask me if I miss it, I tell them ‘I feel as if I jumped off of a sinking ship.'"
