Sheryl Sandberg's Husband Dave Goldberg Has Passed Away

Tech entrepreneur Dave Goldberg has passed away of unknown causes over the weekend, the New York Times reports. Goldberg, 47, was on an overseas holiday with his wife Sheryl Sandberg and their two children when he died sudenly. His death was confirmed by the team at his company – SurveyMonkey – and the team at his wife’s company, Facebook.

His brother, Robert Goldberg, took to facebook to create a memorial group, urging friends and family to share pictures and memories of his late brother. Among them, a shot of Goldberg and Sandberg at their wedding in April, 2004.

“In this time of sorrow, we mourn his passing and remember what an amazing husband, father, brother, son and firend he was. No words can express the depth of loss we feel…” Goldberg wrote on Facebook.
