It's been a bumper day for big companies breaking out the funny and attempting to pull the wool over our eyes (and, yes we admit it, kind-of nearly succeeding).

Here's our pick of the three funniest April Fool's Days jokes of 2015.

Google Panda

The tech giant announced a revolutionary approach to search which is black and white and fuzzy all over. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lI9Qb4PuiOUIn a slick presentation, Chis Yerga, Vice President of Engineering told the cheering and whooping crowd that the the Silicon Valley behemoth was set to launch an exciting new portable device designed to help answer your questions on-the-go - Google Panda, a toy-sized fluffy creature which verbally responds to search queries and is "cute, portable, and shockproof."

Ladybet from Sportsbet

The bookmaking company has released a video touting it's newest product, Ladybet. The chicks-only app (which it says you can customise to match your outfit) would let would-be punters have a flutter on everything from the Real Housewives of Melbourne to The Bachelor, arguing "because what's hotter than a chick on the punt?" and offering "fairer prices for the fairer sex."

“This is an exciting opportunity for Sportsbet. About 10 per cent of our customers are females. Putting that in perspective, at least 35 per cent of blokes are forced to watch The Bachelor,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes is quoted as saying.

One wager the Ladybet app offers we'd be willing to put some cash on? The "odds on Mamamia writing an article about this video in the next hour".

Samsung's smart knife

What can't a smartphone do these days? Samsung took to the Internet today to declare they had taken whizbang technology one step further and had created the world's smart device which also doubles as a handy kitchen implement. According to the South Korean company, the knife's in-built fingerprint technology means the Nigella Lawsons amongst us will never suffer from nicks or cuts as the it knows when the blade is getting too close to your fingers. (This is one gizmo we do wish was real.)

An honourable mention goes to Sydney University who Tweeted that the famous Carillion bells would be playing Darude's house hit Sandstorm at 1p.m. Clicking on a link for a preview takes you to a clip for Rick Atley's Never Gonna Give You Up. Consider us (enjoyably) Rick Rolled.
