Kate Middleton has long championed the health and wellbeing of children - and now she's taken things a step further by recording a two-minute video in support of the UK's first Children's Mental Health Week.

The Duchess, who has a two-year old son and another child on the way, encouraged adults to seek help on behalf of the kids in their lives who may be struggling.

"No one would feel embarrassed about seeking support for a child if they broke their arm, and we really should be equally ready to support a child coping with emotional difficulties," said the Duchess.

"William and I sincerely believe that early action can prevent problems in childhood from turning into larger ones later in life."

Middleton then says that open conversations and greater understandings can go a long way into ensuring that attitudes towards mental health change, and children receive the support they deserve.

Aside from the fabulous message Kate imparts, we can't help but be amazed to hear her speak. We've stalked seen so many photos of her over the years, but rarely have we been privy to her English accent. We can't think of a better cause for Kate to open up about.
