While most people were understandably glued to the television during the Paris attacks, 99% of them were not thinking about what the reporters were wearing.

Except for one guy. He goes by the user name Stephen Blackman, and he actually had the audacity to call out ABC news reporter Lisa Millar on her attire, suggesting she “take a trip” to David Jones to get a new jacket.

Naturally, Millar was perplexed by his tweet, asking him to clarify exactly what he meant.

“The same jacket…report after report…I’m sure you follow,” he wrote, to which she smartly responded, “Funnily enough, I didn’t have time to shop. Mental note to self: pack better when covering breaking news tragedies.”

Other reporters jumped to Millar’s defense, inclusing Karl Stefanovic, who earlier this year conducted an experiment by wearing the same suit every day for a year. No-one called him out on it, and there were no suggestions that he stop by David Jones to mix up his look.

Similarly, Hugh Whitfield, who was on the ground in Paris, tweeted Millar saying, “I’ve been wearing the same jacket since Friday 13th. We barely had time to eat some days.”
