Women Against Feminism Parody Account
The #womenagainstfeminism movement has spawned some pretty funny responses, from the hilarious Confused Cats Against Feminism tumblr to the nudge-nudge Austen characters against feminism (highlights: "I don't need feminism because I have been so fortunate as to be distinguished by the patronage of the right Honourable Lady Catherine de Bourgh!")
But this newest response is the best yet. A parody Twitter account called Women Against Feminism has emerged, quickly gaining more than 12,000 followers. The account tweets tongue-in-cheek contributions to the #womenagainstfeminism hashtag, subtly pointing out how many women who post saying they oppose feminism don't actually understand what feminism is about. Replete with on-purpose spelling mistakes - feminism is misspelt as femimin, fisemen and femsme - the tweets use humour to point out the importance of feminism for modern women.
