Netflix Is Turning Sophie Amoruso’s #Girlboss Into A Comedy Series

Sophia Amoruso – founder of Nasty Gal and author of bestselling book #Girlboss – is set to expand her empire even further.

According to Variety, Netflix are turning #Girlboss into a series.

Amoruso’s story is a 21st century rags-to-riches tale. What began with dumpster-diving and selling vintage clothes on eBay, turned into a multi-million dollar Nasty Gal empire.

Netflix have enlisted Kay Cannon as the showrunner of the #Girlboss series. Cannon was the writer of Pitch Perfect and also worked in the writing room of 30 Rock. With those kind of comedy credentials, we’re sure that #Girlboss is going to be full of LOLs.
