When Kendall and Kylie Jenner jetted into Sydney to launch their Forever New collection earlier this week, chaos ensued. The duo was swamped by an army of female fans desperate to get a glimpse of their idols.

These are, after all, the most famous teenagers in the world.

But away from the spotlight, who are Kylie and Kendall Jenner? And how do they feel about their massive celebrity influence?

According to Kylie, "it's a lot of pressure" being in the spotlight all the time – but she admits their fans make it all worth it.

"We have the most amazing fans that are truly good people and like us, learning and growing every day," Kylie explains to marie claire, adding that she's "glad" to have the opportunity to be a positive inspiration for girls.

"We want to use our voices to spread love and happiness."

The famous siblings made headlines recently after Kendall suggested Kylie needed to get her priorities in order – but it's clear the sisters have each other's backs.

Kendall admits the pair text each other every day, and have a special bond because they're the youngest of the infamous Kardashian/Jenner clan.

"Being the two youngest of our family, we are definitely so close as sisters," says Kendall. "We have so much fun."

The model, who walked the runway for Victoria's Secret less than two weeks ago, adds that some of her favourite times with Kylie are when they're away from the spotlight.

"Last year, we all took a family trip to Thailand," she explains. "It was such a special trip because we all took the time to come together and the house we stayed in was amazing. The beaches and weather were so beautiful. It was definitely a very special trip and the best memories with family."

Kendall adds that growing up in such an influential household hasn't been particularly easy – but that she and Kylie "understand each other" and the challenges they face.

One of those challenges of course, has been designing a collection for fashion chain Forever New – but for Kendall, the process was made easier because of the girls' past collaborations.

"We wanted to offer something more sophisticated and elevated, and I think this collection really shows a lot of growth," Kendall explained.

"Our tastes have definitely matured over the last few years and I think Kylie and I both have more confidence in our point of views as designers."

The world has watched the sisters grow on screen and as people. In the wake of the Paris terror attacks, Kylie said she wished "people could spread more love than hate" – a sentiment she extends to her anti-bullying campaign.

"I started an anti-bullying movement on Instagram called #IAmMoreThan," said Kylie. "I really want to bring awareness to bullying in the world right now and lift people up. We should all support each other."

The Kendall and Kylie for Forever New collection is in stores now.
