Anna Kendrick, could we love you any more?

The actress, 29, is killing it at the moment. From taking on sexist film producers and starting a viral meme with her awesome Pitch Perfect 2 poster pose to engaging in an awesome riff-off with our favourite comedian-of-the-moment James Corden, Kendrick really can do no wrong.

Just wait till you see her latest comedic moment.

As one of the many stars involved in Will Ferrell’s Funny Or Die Red Nose Day awareness celebrations (other A-list contributors include the complete cast of Game Of Thrones doing a musical with Coldplay. Yes, you read that right), Kendrick did her bit to raise money for worldwide child poverty by donning Indiana Jones’ famous fedora, whip and leather jacket.

That’s right, Kendrick stars in a satirical female-reboot of that much-loved Harrison Ford adventure and derring-do franchise: Indiana Jones.

In the skit – which sees Kendrick as Dr Jones searching for the Holy Grail in The Last Crusade – the actress takes aim at Hollywood’s misogyny when told by the grail keeper that she is “such a pretty lady.”

Literally whipping him in the face, Kendrick responds “Man, I am a respected professor of archaeology! Times have changed. I have degrees!”

Later, Kendrick pockets a few priceless historical heirlooms for her living room. “These all belong in a museum,” she says, with a smile. “You get it.”

Kendrick’s dry-as-the-Jordanian-desert comedic timing to her dab hand with a whip – not to mention the fact she looks great in khaki – all make this Indiana Jones parody truly hilarious.

Hollywood, can you please make this reboot happen for real?
