Yahoo Lifestyle Kim Kardashian Speaks Out For First Time On Bruce Jenner's Transition

Kim Kardashian is the first of Bruce Jenner’s children to speak out publically about his transition, announced over the weekend in a revealing tell-all interview. Kardashian – who is Jenner’s stepdaughter, thanks to his 25-year marriage to her mother Kris – went on US morning show Today to discuss Jenner’s revelation that he identifies as a woman.
“I don’t know what life would be like if you always felt like you weren’t yourself,” Kardashian told Today host Matt Lauer. “As long as he is happy and he wants to live his life, however he wants to live it, that just makes me happy. And I support him 100 per cent.”
“Say what you want about us, but we work out everything as a family and we have the best communication and we are so in sync with each other," Kardashian added. "I love having so many siblings because each family member might be dealing with this in a different way, but we have each other."
"I think he's ready for the challenge and ready to help other peoples' lives that might be going through the same things that he's going through and that's something that he's really proud of and something that he's ready to take on. And I'm really proud of him for that."
Kardashian’s appearance on morning television marks the first time any of the Kardashian/Jenner clan have appeared publically to discuss their father’s transition. Many of his children have used their social media to share their thoughts, however, in particular 20-year old supermodel Kendall Jenner, who tweeted to her 10.3 million followers a simple message of support.
