When Eva Mendes was asked how she keeps Ryan Gosling "happy at home", we have to admit, we were a little surprised that a) she'd been asked the question in the first place and b) her response was that she doesn't wear sweatpants.
"You can't do sweatpants...ladies, number one cause of divorce in America: sweatpants, no!" Mendes said.

It seems the internet was just as unhappy with Ryan Gosling over this as we were, because the actor has since taken to Twitter to clarify that in fact, Mendes was joking:
Obviously sweatpants thing was a joke. Wearing them now. That's right, tweeting in sweatpants. Rats! Said too much! You win again Twitter.
