The Hunger Games Is Going To Be A Musical

Will the world ever tire of Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark and Gale Hawthorne? We think not. Soon – in 2016, just after the November 2015 release of the final installment of Mockingjay – you will be able to relive every brutal moment of The Hunger Games in a live action musical.
Lionsgate, the film distribution company that owns the rights to the films, announced that it will be co-producing the musical version, which will be premiering in a purpose-built theatre near London’s Wembley Stadium in two years.
Will members of the original cast (read: Jennifer Lawrence) star in the musical remake? We are keeping fingers crossed.
