Alyssa Milano and Wendy Williams Argue About Breastfeeding In Public

Alyssa Milano has long been an outspoken advocate for normalising breastfeeding in public - recently calling out airport security for confiscating her pumped breast milk.

And now she has gone head-to-head with Wendy Williams who admitted that women breastfeeding in public makes her uncomfortable, declaring "I don't need to see that."

"But would you eat under a blanket?" the actress replied.

"What I would do is I would go to the car and not on the bench in front of the big box store," the talk show host responded.

The topic came up after Milano posted a snap on Instagram of her breastfeeding 16-month-old daughter, Elizabella. "It's been one of the greatest joys in my life to breastfeed my babies. #normalizebreastfeeding" she captioned the photo.

The mother-of-two wasn't backing down however, and continued to argue why our culture finds it appropriate to show breasts in as sexualised way but not in the manner for which they were intended.

"I don't know why I feel this way. I'm a mum also," replied Wendy. "But breastfeeding is only a particular amount of time. For the rest of your life, your breasts are sexual things. They're funbags!"

However passionate Alyssa had the last word.

"All over the world, you're the not-normal. You're lucky the baby's not here, I'd whip 'em out right here and feed [her] on your show!"
