Watch Jimmy Kimmel Get A Ballet Lesson From Misty Copeland

American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Misty Copeland had her work cut out for her when Jimmy Kimmel and Guillermo stopped by for a ballet lesson.

The talk show host, in New York for a series of episodes, took his sidekick along to get a personal ballet lesson in her studio before taking to the stage to perform.

Copeland, who made history as the first African-American Female Principal Dancer with the prestigious American Ballet Theatre could barely keep a straight face as the pair attempted to follow her instructions while dressed in skin-tight pink leotards and tutus.

Kimmel gave his teacher a little cheek, telling that camera that it must be tough when she is faced with such natural talent.

"You get someone like me who shows up and they’re immediately good at it - it had to bother her," he joked.

"She’s worked at this her whole life and I just stroll in and master it."

However Misty wasn't quite so sure, telling the camera: "Ballet was born in Italy more than 600 years ago. And today it dies."
