Jennifer Aniston Slams 'Incessant' Baby Pressure

Jennifer Aniston has been the source of tabloid fodder for years - and it seems she's (rightfully) had enough.

The 45-year old, who's happily engaged to Justin Theroux, finally put an end to all the questions regarding whether or not she'll ever have a baby in an interview with Carson Daly.

The actress discussed the pressure the media puts on childless women, saying it's "a constant" in her life.

"I've talked to [Gloria Steinem] personally about this for awhile, just because it always is such an issue of, like, 'Are you married yet? Do you have your babies yet?'" Aniston said.

"It's like, 'Well, I don't know.' I don't have this sort of checklist of things that have to be done and if they are not checked, then I've failed some part of my feminism or my being a woman or my worth or my worth as a woman because I haven't, you know, birthed a child?"

It's a fair call from Aniston, who has endured years of questions about her personal life. Plus, we think she summed it up best when she said, "I've birthed a lot of things and I feel like I've mothered many things and I don't think it is fair to put that pressure on people."

Besides that, Aniston also pointed out that she’s actually accomplished a lot in her life, and therefore isn’t defined by whether or not she should have children.

"I feel like I've had three different periods of adolescence," the actress told Daly after she was asked about her personal growth. "I have had an incredible evolution. I keep seeing these little lifetimes that I lived. They are all so wonderful and they all served me so well . . . I feel very grateful to my evolution and my history and all involved. I would never exchange it for anything."
