This season, some of our favourite female faces are fast taking over the menswear catwalk – and we can’t get enough.

First it was Gemma Ward at Calvin Klein, and now Alessandra Ambrosio has graced the catwalk at the Balmain show in Milan.

The Victoria’s Secret model struck a different cord in a sharp tuxedo top with cinched-in waist, followed by a signature Balmain coat with detailed embroidery.

With her hair swept back from her face and minimal makeup, Ambrosio’s new look was in stark contrast to her usually flirty Victoria’s Secret garb.

“Beauty by @tomsapin @highnability @balmainparis @olivier_rousteing #balmainarmy #balmainworld #BALMAINFW16”, the model captioned the above photo on Instagram afterwards.

Ambrosio wasn’t the only female model to grace the Balmain menswear catwalk however – designer Olivier Rousteing also invited Lily Donaldson and Cindy Bruna to walk in the show.
