MBFWA might be over for another year, but the week's most popular shows live on on Instagram. The most talked-about show of the week was ELLERY, which opened the week and set the bar high on Sunday night. Featuring ballerinas from the Australian Ballet Company, a star turn by supermodel Gemma Ward (the only show Ward walked that week) and a bass-thumping soundtrack by international DJ Salvatore Morale, the show was the week's most engaged presentation on Instagram, receiving the most likes, comments and hashtag mentions.

Following closely behind ELLERY was Toni Maticevski's ethereal, other-worldly show held on Day Three at Carriageworks. With an elaborate setpiece and orchids provided by florist Doctor Lisa Cooper, the show hit all the right notes with Instagram users. Alice McCall came in third, thanks to her colourful set and cast of happy, smiling models.

The top ten shows of the week were rounded out with Bec & Bridge in the number four slot, debut brand Ten Piece (who showed in an emptied Icebergs Pool) at number five and glamorous partywear brand Aje at number six. The remaining four most engaged shows on Instagram were We Are Handsome, bridalwear brand Steven Khalil, By Johnny and Ginger & Smart.
